Shower and Toilet Blocks. There are two amenity blocks on the site. One is located by The Firs and has toilet, washbasin and shower facilities for both sexes; it also has a washing up area, chemical toilet waste disposal, wastewater disposal point and drinking water point. This block is shut for cleaning between 1100 and noon.
The second block is situated between Oak Meadow and Orchard Park and has similar facilities except that it also has a separate facility for disabled persons (key available from Reception) and a Laundry.
This block is shut for cleaning between noon and 1.30pm.

Laundry. A laundry is located at the far end of the new facilities block just beyond 'the Ladies'. Tokens for the washing machine tumble dryers and spin dryer can be purchased from Reception during opening hours. There is also sink (Hot water is 10p a fill) and ironing facilities. The power point for the iron is controlled by a meter that takes 10p coins. You may use your own iron or, alternatively, an iron is available from Reception on payment of a returnable deposit. The power point may also be used for other electrical items such as a kettle as long as the loading does not exceed 3kw. Please ask if you are uncertain.

Washing Line. A washing line is available behind the fir trees overlooking the Bottom Burrows. Pegs can be purchased from Reception. A new drying area is being provided by the laundry in 2008.

Payphone. A payphone is situated in the Information room behind the farmhouse. It does not accept incoming calls. Details of the call charges are shown on the instruction sheet. Certain facilities are not available. In the event that you need to give a contact telephone number in emergency you should give our number which is 01237 431836.
